The Birth of Wootton!

Since 2016, Wootton's creative expertise paved the way for our current endeavors.

Our passion arose from a desire for a higher quality of life and the therapeutic nature of crafting by hand.

Through self-teaching, we honed various techniques, offering a wide range of items made from natural materials, employing traditional methods transformed into modern pieces with a Scandinavian touch. Our ropes are naturally dyed to enhance their uniqueness. It all starts and ends with a single rope.

We embrace unconventionality in our work. Nature-inspired creations crafted with our own hands possess an inherent beauty.

As we forge ahead, we explore ways to combine the rustic charm of wood with the softness of cotton, reflecting our profound inspiration from nature, and resulting in captivating designs. Our exploration knows no bounds.

We believe.

Nature is our inspiration. Its wonders are woven into the fabric of our daily lives.

We believe in simple, timeless and responsible designs. We believe in stories worth celebrating. We believe in freedom. And above all, we believe in Mother Nature.

Nature is generous and it is there to serve us on the condition that we respect her in return.

We believe that whatever we borrow from her, we can always give back to her without causing any harm. It’s the cycle of life.

We encourage a slow, authentic way of living; a living close to nature, which is a priceless daily therapy. By extension, it is also wonderful to indulge in handmade, environment-friendly products.

As such, at Wootton, we glorify nature and everything it offers by adopting sustainable ways of living and promoting a change in consumption habits through the use of natural materials and dyes.

Finally, we believe in the power of recycling and repurposing. To serve that very purpose, we recycle materials for leftover fabric ropes. We are proud to be a “zero waste atelier”.
